HPL cladding is known for its upscale aesthetic appeal and impeccable performance. It is one of the main reasons homeowners and designers choose it over other surfacing solutions. HPL cladding requires minimal upkeep to maintain their original sheen for extended periods. Continuing the discussion, here are a few useful tips to keep HPL cladding looking as good as new.
1. Clean on a regular basis
HPL cladding does not require any extensive maintenance regime. All you have to do is wipe it with a soft lint-free or microfiber cloth on a regular basis, to get rid of dust, dirt, and any other foreign particles and maintain its original sheen. You can also use a vacuum cleaner to get rid of dust from the surface of laminate wall panels.

2. Reduce exposure to direct sunlight
Regular laminate wall panels tend to fade when exposed to direct sun for extended hours. It is, therefore, advisable to use curtains or blinds to prevent direct sunlight. This is, however, not the case when it comes to HPL cladding from Greenlam Clads as it is resistant to UV rays and does not fade when exposed to sunlight.
3. Immediately wipe off tough stains
HPL cladding is resistant to common stains such as those resulting from jam, syrup, tea, milk, soap, wine, and caffeine. That said, it is still advisable to immediately wipe off stains, especially the tough ones resulting from fruit juice, bleach, caramel, beetroot juice, and tomato concentrate. Clean using a damp cloth soaked in a mild soap solution.
4. Use the right cleaning products
Avoid using cleaners with strong chemicals as they can damage the HPL cladding. For instance, avoid using cleaners with bleach or chlorine. You should also avoid using abrasive cleaning materials or steel wool scrubbers as it can lead to irreversible damage. Instead, use appropriate cleaners and a damp cloth to clean the HPL cladding.

5. Avoid direct exposure to water
HPL wall cladding is resistant to moisture. But direct exposure to water for an extended period can cause significant damage. Also, whenever you use a damp cloth or any liquid cleaner to clean the wall cladding, make sure you immediately dry the walls using a dry cloth, air blower or fan.
